Hello everybody and welcome to Warwick Poker Society. For those who played before, welcome back. I'm Vivien, and if you didn't see me at the freeroll, I was very drunk so my notes for the final table might not be very accurate.

So we reached the final table and I remember seeing Jon Pill and James Jose were on it. Jon Pill is a sicko. Anyway, the first hand was an all in from Akash in seat 4 for 28k, with the blinds at 4k/8k. Tom Baggaley in seat 6 called with his 11k stack and flipped over QTs. Akash shrugged and turned over his AK (probably offsuit). Board runs out to be Q8K4T, and QT got to stay for a little bit longer. It's all about the rivering. At this point we pointed out we're on a hoodie bubble.

A few hands later, James in seat 7 shoves all in with his large stack and Alex Potter who was on the button called with 22k. I think I was too busy laughing at James to record down the hands, but whatever it was James hit spade flush with K8s26s7s board. The poor Alex was then out with £15 in his pocket and the last of the T-shirts.

James continue to be aggressive and shoved all in, pretty sure he has everyone covered at this point. But considering we're at 4k/8k, this person (apologies as I did not record who) calls with 9k stack with Q2. Against James' AQ it was in poor shape, but on the 93J29 board it was good enough. Meh, I didn't think James really cared then.

Tom in seat 6 ran all in (I wrote about 25k? It's kind of adding up...) with Q7 of spades into James' QQ. The flop comes the last Q, and no straight or flush to save Tom. Tom was then out with £15 and a hoodie. I'd like an hoodie.

By now the blind goes up to 10k/20k, and Jon Pill in seat 7 shovs all in with 75k. 75k! Akash in the big blind sighed and asked if he could fold, considering he'd be leaving behind 24500. He decided he will fold. Jon said good fold. But he always says that. James lost a hand with 45o against Harman's tens, who's sitting on seat 3. The board was Q28A9 and James was short of a 3 :(

I think I drank a bit more, as my writing is getting more and more difficult to read. anyway, Jon was determined to get those chips from Akash when he shoves all in with AsJh and Akash, who has 14500 at this point, called with Kh4d. Board runs out to be 2h9cd8dTc, which was not enough to save Akash and he was out for 6th. Five handed now and it's getting a bit more exciting. By exciting I mean short. Hmm.

Rohan who I think was sitting in seat 8 shoves all in with 37k in the small blind and Jon called in the big blind with 9d5h. I may have made a mistake there but... it might actually be true. Anyway, Rohan flipped over Ah4h (what a pretty hand) and board runs out to be As8h2hJd4d giving Rohan two pair and... well, he was ahead before.

We are very close for the blinds to go up again when Sagar in seat 5 shoves all with with AcJs for 44k. Quite a bit shove I think at this stage? James snapped called with KhKs. Sagar has outs. Board did not give Sagar his outs and James won the pot with the river set. Sagar was out in 5th. We asked James to give us a count and at 10k/20k he claimed to have 191k. That's a very large stack.

Now at 15k/30k, Harman shoved for 150k. Jon Pill tanked. Jon Pill tanked. Jon Pill tanked. Jon Pill folded and told us he had K5. Jon Pill said it was a bad fold, and Harman showed an A. I think this is when I start to question the validity of my notes. But I do remember this next bit. Because I like both James and Jon I decided I will flip a chip to decide who to root for. Apparently James won.

This is quickly followed by Jon Pill all in with Qs2c against Harman's KcTs. The board was 3cAc4s8cTd, and Jon Pill was OUT for 4th! I wrote here "LOL JP", which I'm not sure what it means. Jon made quite a bit though, £30. And we all know this is only the beginning.

Now we are three handed, we asked for a quick count:

Seat 3 - Harman  ~120k

Seat 7 - James ~131k

Seat 8 - Rohan ~114k

It's a lot of pressure playing three handed. Especially when everyone is watching and you've got a drunken girl laughing at everything. However, the three handedness did not last very long though. A few hands in, Rohan was all in with JsQd and Harman called with Ad9d, board runs out to be 5d6c8s4d9h and Rohan was out in third, which was a whole £50 and the last of the hoodie.

Heads up now, James v.s. Harman. I wanted James to win just the chip told me to root for him. My notes for hand no. 1 was that Harman was able to bluff with 27o by doing nothing. I may have been too drunk to know what was going on.

Some hands later (literally what I wrote) we got and exciting situation with James shoving all in and Harman thought about it, shrugged, and called. James had Js6c and Harman had Kc4c. I wondered what they were doing with those hands, but James had plenty of outs. Board runs out to be... 2s Ad Th Qh and...

9s.

So Harmon won! Congratulations! Winning £110 and the lovely pokerstars chips set which I really really wanted. So jealous. James got a lovely price in second though, with £80 and a mini travelling pokerchip set. It's so cute it's unbelievable.

Well, thank you everyone for playing and hopefully I get to see you soon!
