Poker Cancelled This Week
Posted by Callum Wright [ 11/01/2010 00:43:49 ]

Unfortunately due to an unavailability of rooms on campus, poker society will not run a tournament in week one of term 2 (week 15). There is also a strong possibility there won't be one week 2 either. Keep checking the events section during the week for updated information.

Hope you all had a good holiday and a happy new year and we look forward to seeing you Tuesday week 3 (at the very latest).

Poker Soc Moves to Tuesday
Posted by Callum Wright [ 09/10/2009 16:24:58 ]

For the first time in its history Poker Society has moved from a Monday to a Tuesday, so no more missing Top B for Freshers and returning students alike!

For the rest of this term we will be meetng at 6.45pm for a 7pm start outside B2.04 in the Science Concourse.

An impressive 40 people showed for our £5 1RB 1 AO tournament this week, with Paul Mortimer taking it down for a cool £190. But it wasn't for Player of the Year points so sorry about that Paul!

Don't forget, to welcome our new members into the society, our annual Freshers' Freeroll is in week two, with £100 guaranteed for first prize. Free to enter, with an optional £5 rebuy or add-on if you so choose, it's not to be missed.

See you all there!
